Hidden Creek Lake Haven off East Lake Okoboji

Great place to stay amenities and cleanliness wise, however, the number of beds is inaccurate on the listing. It reads there is a King, Queen, 2 twin bunk beds, & twin bed for a total of 7 mattresses. Rented this place for a fishing tournament for 6 guys that we would each have our own beds. Arrived and one of the bunk bed and the twin are not present so only had 4 mattresses for 6 guys... Also, messaged host before booking that we would have 3 trucks and 3 boats and if there was enough parking (from the photo of concrete outside it appeared there would be) and they assured us enough parking. Picture was very misleading (taken in .5 zoom), concrete was 30' x 30' enough to unhook one boat in the garage, unhook one boat outside, squeeze two trucks in remaining parking, and our third truck and boat had to park 15 min away at other friends rental that had room. If 4 beds, parking for 3-4 vehicles max, and want good proximity to the lakes and town, this place was fantastic in all those aspects!

Pet friendly with a beautiful private backyard overlooking a small creek. We also liked being in a quiet a quiet neighborhood with only a 5-10 minute walk to a public lake access point. The Edison bulbs, along with many fireflies, added a lot as well. We would book this property again.

Very good place. The minor property issues were reported to the owner who said they’d fix them. While the location is not on the water, the description is accurate and it is within walking distance. A little extra dusting of the wood blinds, sweeping off the deck, etc would raise it from very good to excellent.While the price isn’t cheap, it’s appropriate for Okoboji in the summer.
